In particular, the list of old occupations is one of the most comprehensive you will find on the Internet. Tracing your family tree can be very rewarding and at the same time incredibly frustrating. Be warned-It can also be very addictive!
It isn’t something that can be achieved “overnight” and a lot of patience and ultimately time will be required. However a lot of people get a lot of enjoyment from tracing their tree, and we hope you come into this category.
In the various pages above you will find assorted details which might help you along the way, and explain some of the more technical details. Some of the “insider jargon” can often be intimidating to the uninitiated, but it doesn’t have to be, and we will try to explain everything as clearly as possible.
